Chadwick Bironga is an Assistant Research Scientist (Economist/Socio-Economist) based at the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI) Lake Turkana Station. He holds a Master's degree in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi. He is a Research and Innovation Fellow at the University of Nairobi's C4D Innovation Hub and a UNESCO GRO Fisheries Training Programme Fellow. His multidisciplinary expertise spans economics, food systems and sustainability analysis, GIS and earth observation, statistical programming, database systems, and policy development. Chadwick has contributed to numerous projects in fisheries, aquaculture, climate-smart agriculture, mangrove conservation, and blue economy policy. He also serves as the Coordinator of Internal Seminars for the Directorate of Freshwater Systems and sits on several professional and governance committees.
