About Nairobi Liaison Office

The Nairobi Liaison Office serves as KMFRI's interface with national government ministries, development partners, donor agencies, and international organisations headquartered in Nairobi. Established in 2000, the office facilitates policy engagement, grant management, and coordination with Kenya's State Department for Fisheries, the Kenya Fisheries Service (KeFS), and other regulatory bodies. It also provides logistical support for KMFRI staff attending national and international meetings, conferences, and training events in the capital.
