Dr. Nyamweya holds a PhD in Fisheries Science from the University of Iceland (2017). He is a distinguished fisheries scientist specializing in ecological modeling, fisheries acoustics, fish stock assessment, and ecosystem-based management. He developed the first 3D hydrodynamic circulation model for Lake Victoria.
