The World Fisheries Day is here with us again!

This year’s celebrations, traditionally marked on 21st November, will be held at the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Headquarters.
The focus of this year’s forum is "Catalysing Sustainable Fisheries and Responsible Aquaculture Action for People, Ocean and Climate".
World Fisheries Day underscores the vital importance of sustainably managing and conserving fisheries resources.
#KMFRI in collaboration with Kenya Fisheries Service the Kenya Marine Fisheries Socio-Economic Development Project (KEMFSED) will co-host the 2025 celebrations which will bring together stakeholders from the fisheries, aquaculture, and related sectors to exchange experiences, showcase best practices, and discuss advancements in aquatic ecosystem management and fisheries development.
