A highly motivated Human Resource Practitioner, Trainer, Transformative Leader, Performance Management Expert  and Management Development Coach with over than 19 years of hands-on experience in HR matters. Currently serving as Assistant Director, Human Resource Management and Administration, Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute, KMFRI, previously served as Director, Human Resource Management and Development, County Government of Lamu for over 5 years, Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government as SHRMO, HRMO, ASHRMO, for 14 years.

 

Served as adjunct Lecturer, Moi University, 2013 - 2018, Cooperative University of Kenya, 2015 - 2018 and currently a Faculty Member of the CHRM College, Kenya since 2013.

 

I have genuine passion for people; i am inclined towards building and managing teams, finding, acquiring and nurturing talents, strengthening relationships and tackling challenging, people related issues  in the workplace; always appreciating every person's capabilities and endowments.  Every single employee, if well handled, is a potentially distinct asset in the organization.
